10 ° FESTIVAL GOURMET
A St. Moritz, in Engadina,dal 10 al 15 marzo 2003 si svolgerà il 10° Festival Gourmet.
Questo anno ricorre il 10° anniversario del Festival Gourmet di St. Moritz e per lâoccasione si prevedono importanti innovazioni.
Grazie alla collaborazione con partner forti, innovativi e pieni di creativitĂ , il Festival Gourmet di St. Moritz assumerĂ nel futuro la fisionomia di un evento leader della gastronomia e sarĂ conosciuto in tutto il mondo.
Per il festival St. Moritz ha invitato Ă©quipe internazionali dellâalta gastronomia insieme a cuochi di gran fama. Al loro fianco lavoreranno le brigate degli alberghi di lusso e di prima categoria – Badruttâs Palace, Carlton, Kulm, Suvretta House, Albana, Crystal, Monopol, Schweizerhof e Steffani e ogni giorno verrĂ preparata una girandola di piatti tanto prelibati da superare ogni aspettativa. Il festival sarĂ aperto con il «Grand Gourmet Opening-Cocktail» che si terrĂ nellâHotel Carlton dove si presenteranno tutte le squadre ospiti.
Il festival sarĂ arricchito di eventi «lifestyle» paralleli e di presentazioni di prodotti alla moda. Sono da segnalare il «Kitchen Party» al Badruttâs Palace, il «Jubilee Gala Dinner» a 2500 m di altitudine al Mathis Food Affairs sul Corviglia, i «Wine and Dine» con vini squisiti e cucina asiatica dai sapori piccanti nellâHotel Steffani, i «Gourmet Cocktails» e «Wine Master Classes» quotidiani.
Chi ha voglia di sviluppare il proprio talento per lâarte della cucina puĂČ imparare dal capocuoco di una squadra ospite, partecipando ai «Culinary Master Classes». La finale «Grande Gourmet» per questa volta non si svolgerĂ nel tendone dei VIP sul lago ghiacciato di St. Moritz, ma al Badruttâs Palace.
Quando fu istituito, il Festival Gourmet di St. Moritz era una novitĂ assoluta. Nel frattempo nel mondo intero si sono fatti avanti degli imitatori e cosĂŹ St. Moritz (che conta soltanto 5000 abitanti e si trova a 1856 m di altitudine!) collabora strettamente con Singapore, Sidney, CittĂ del Capo, Sylt, Berlino e Las Vegas. Come prototipo da cui derivano tutte le altre manifestazioni il festival di St. Moritz ha portato nuovi impulsi alla gastronomia dellâEngadina. Oggi la vallata vanta quasi 300 punti Gault-Millau e 6 stelle Michelin â un record mondiale dellâarte culinaria.
